Position Type: Full-Time Physician OB/GYN Hospitalist

Overview

Join a busy inpatient OB/GYN hospitalist program providing 24-hour coverage and collaborative care with midwives and community partners. This role offers a chance to work in a high-volume referral center with strong multidisciplinary support.

Practice Highlights

• Dedicated full-time hospitalist role no separate doc call

• 24-hour in-house coverage for L&D, OB/GYN triage, and ER calls

• Approximately 80 deliveries monthly

• Daily rounding on post-op and post-partum patients

• Serve as regional referral resource for GYN patients

• Collaborative care model with midwives, anesthesia, and NICU

• Program launching 24-hour hospitalist coverage in April 2025

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified in OB/GYN Required

• Iowa license (or willing to obtain) Required

• H1B & J1 support available for full-time positions

• Clean malpractice strongly preferred

• Cannot accept locums or providers requiring supervision

Schedule & Coverage

• Full-time inpatient hospitalist schedule

• 24-hour shifts covering labor & delivery, triage, and emergencies
