• Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Hermitage, TN 37076 (Greater Nashville Area)
• Healthcare Setting: Women’s/NICU Unit (24 LDRP beds, 10 NICU beds)
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Duration: 13-week travel contract (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 3/2/2026)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• On-Site Position
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1470-$1570

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state (required for nursing jobs in Tennessee)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Proficiency in fetal monitoring and electronic documentation systems (CPN preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns
• Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring equipment
• Assist with labor, delivery (including C-sections), and immediate newborn care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, unit coordinators, patient care techs, and lactation consultants
• Document patient care accurately using the CPN system
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and family-centered clinical environment
