Job Title: Physician - Gastroenterology
Join a leading gastroenterology practice located in Douglasville, Georgia, just 20 minutes from Downtown Atlanta, Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, and Braves Stadium! Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive gastroenterology services at our Douglasville and Hiram Medical Offices.
- Collaborate with a team of 5 MD/DOs and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Work a Monday to Friday schedule with a 1:3 single hospital call.
- Manage approximately 15-18 patients daily.
- Perform procedures including Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, Infusion, Telehealth, and more.
- Engage in ongoing learning and professional development opportunities.
- Integrate into a team environment that values affordable and quality digestive care.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine (Required).
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Required).
- Georgia medical license (or willingness to obtain) (Required).
- Clear malpractice history (Preferred).
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start) (Required).
- New graduates through 2025 are encouraged to apply.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Georgia medical license (Required).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (Required).
- DEA certification to be obtained before employment begins (Required).
