What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any unusual circumstances to the appropriate authorities.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to personnel and visitors.
- Operate and inspect security-related equipment as required for the armed patrol post.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and patrol activities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
