Overview:
We are excited to invite a dedicated physician to join our exceptional team at a leading gastroenterology practice that covers Griffin and Locust Grove Medical Offices. This practice is part of a larger network that prioritizes patient-centered care, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective healthcare solutions in a compassionate environment. With a talented team of over 200 providers, we are committed to advancing the field of digestive health. Our location offers convenience with nearby cities including Peachtree City, Fayetteville, and McDonough all just 25 minutes away, and Hartsfield-Jackson Airport within 40 minutes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care covering Griffin and Locust Grove Medical Offices.
- Manage a patient load of approximately 15-18 patients daily.
- Participate in a 1:4 single hospital call schedule at Wellstar Spalding Hospital.
- Perform various procedures including Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, Hemorrhoid Banding, and more.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team including 3 MD/DOs and 4 clinic-based Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Engage in telehealth services and nutrition counseling.
- Advance within a well-established practice that offers growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Willingness to obtain a Georgia medical license if not currently licensed.
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
- DEA certification must be obtained prior to start.
- Submit your best Permanent Placement rate upon application.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Georgia medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible certification required in relevant specialties.
