Requirements Join a collaborative anesthesia team at a respected Michigan hospital providing care across a full patient demographic—from pediatrics to geriatrics. This is a supervised CRNA role with a strong focus on general surgical cases and opportunities to engage in neurosurgical procedures and spinal anesthesia.Job DescriptionAdminister anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patientsProvide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedurePerform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical proceduresManage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical processDeliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teamsMaintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase pre-op intra-op and post-opUtilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia recordsEnsure compliance with hospital policies procedural protocols and safety standardsWork four 4 10-hour shifts per weekNo on-call duties required strictly scheduled shiftsOperate within a hospital-based setting designated as a Level II Trauma CenterContribute to a daily volume of approximately 50 surgical casesWork alongside a team in multiple operating rooms with rotating assignments based on needRespond to emergencies and provide airway management including intubation if neededPerm Placement/Conversion Fees:CRNA: 18kLocum to Perm Reduction in Conversion Fees:CRNA:160-319 hours = 2500 reduction320-639 hours = 4500 reduction640hours = 5500 reductionRegardless of number of hours a CRNA has worked reduction will not exceed 5500Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 daysHenry Ford does not reimburse for background checksHenry Ford does not reimburse for application or credentialing fees.
