Medical Center seeking a Breast Oncology Radiologist
--Analyze and interpret screening and diagnostic mammograms, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasounds, and breast MRIs for the detection and characterization of breast cancer.
--Perform and interpret results from image-guided biopsies, which are essential for obtaining tissue for definitive diagnosis and biomarker analysis.
--Part of a "triple assessment" that includes clinical assessment (patient history, physical exam), imaging (mammography, ultrasound), and biopsy to ensure an accurate diagnosis.
--Serve as a key consultant to other specialists, including surgeons, oncologists, and primary care physicians.
--Take a central role in patient communication, from initial diagnosis to follow-up, providing essential information and psychological support to patients and their families.
--Participate in quality control measures and participate in a tumor board to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
--Work as a crucial member of a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care plans and treatment monitoring.
--Procedural and medical scope of work: Biopsies (Needle Breast Biopsy), Breast Health, Mammography Screening, Diagnostic Mammography, Tomosynthesis, PET/CT Imagining reading, MRI reading
--10-chair infusion center, onsite lab and pharmacy, two additional infusion centers on campus (1 general/1 rheumatology)
--Imaging/Diagnostics: PET scanning, 64-slice CT, 3-D mammography, breast MRI, high-definition endoscopy/bronchoscopy
--Tumor Boards: Bi-weekly for breast, PCC, GI, and ENT
--5 Year Employment Agreement up to an annual base compensation of $775,000.
--Sign-on Bonus: $100,000
--Relocation Assistance: $25,000
--Call: Flexible
--Base Compensation: Up to $775k base with additional WRVU bonus potential
--$52.00 - $60.00 per wRVU above base target bonus potential.
