- 24-hour shifts from 8 am - 9 am next day
- Approximately 10 shifts between January and April
- Average census of 13 patients, up to 17 - 18
- Work with neonatologists 8 am - 3 pm, independent practice after hours
- Babies down to 23 weeks gestation
- Intubation, chest tube placement, umbilical venous line placement required
- High-risk delivery attendance and ground transport duties
