Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of home health experience and current BLS and state license.
Responsibilities
- Home health setting covering 13 counties in the region
- Patient visits scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Rotating weekend coverage every 5th week, with compensatory days off during the week
- On-call required 1 Sunday every 5 weeks
- When working in more distant counties, fewer patient visits are scheduled to accommodate travel
- Preferred experience with Epic EMR system
- Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations and treatments in home settings across multiple counties
- Team members alternate weekly coverage of more distant areas
- Dress code requires black, grey, or khaki pants with a polo or scrub top; no printed clothing
- Orientation includes required online training modules
- Return travelers must have been separated for at least one year prior to consideration
- Required to provide two professional references
- Must submit copy of driver's license and SSN at time of consideration
Requirements
- Current DPT, BLS, and state license required for consideration (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of recent home health physical therapy experience
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Locals within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a reduced rate
- Travel physical therapy experience preferred
