Job Duties Include but are not limited to: You'll start by reviewing the yard audit sheet, which is usually 5-6 pages long and includes truck numbers and required temperatures.Next, you'll walk the entire yard and check each unit"marking down actual temperatures and fuel levels on the sheet.If any units are low on fuel, you'll place a sticky note on them, then get in the fuel truck and go back through to fill them up.

• Valid license
• Satisfactory MVR
• Apply your knowledge of transportation
• Verify records on incoming shipments
• Log shipments into computer
• Document preparation
• Trouble shoot and correct problems
• Record shipment data
• Compare shipment contents to manifest, invoice, or order forms
• Report any discrepancies to accounting
• Inspect trailer temperatures
• Record tractor, trailer, and seal numbers
• Dispatch moves to drivers
• Examine product and work to verify conformance specifications
• Accurately maintain records
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
