Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine
Join a dedicated team that supports our nation's Veterans by providing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in a professional, supportive environment. This role offers flexibility to work either in your own office or at a VES facility. With a strong commitment to serving Veterans, you'll be a key player in making a difference in their healthcare experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based assessments with some physical evaluation, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Submit detailed reports following assessments, ensuring compliance with all protocol.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all evaluations and findings.
- Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
- Proficient in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Must have access to a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted license in Kentucky.
- AANP certification is required.
- Willingness to complete DMA training to obtain DMA certification.
