A board-certified Diagnostic Radiologist is sought for a locum tenens role in eastern Texas, providing services in a structured outpatient setting during the holiday season. The position entails interpreting approximately 70 radiologic readings daily, including CT, MRI, mammography, and ultrasound, without inpatient or on-call duties. Candidates must hold an active Texas medical license and demonstrate proficiency with Philips PACS and MModal-Fluency for Imaging systems.
We are seeking a board-certified Diagnostic Radiologist for a locum tenens assignment in beautiful eastern Texas, close to Alto, TX. This temporary position provides the ideal setting for a professional looking to work in a structured outpatient environment over the holiday season. The facility is fully equipped and supported by a team of experienced staff and fellow radiologists, ensuring an efficient and collaborative workplace. Position Highlights: Location: Near Alto, TX Dates: December 23 - 27, 2024 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with a lunch break from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm Setting: Outpatient; no inpatient or on-call duties Patient Load: Approximately 70 readings per day Requirements: Board Certification: Required in Diagnostic Radiology Licensure: Active Texas medical license EMR Systems: Proficiency with Philips PACS and MModal-Fluency for Imaging is necessary; familiarity with Epic is preferred but not required for readings Specialty Skills: A range of radiologic skills, including: General radiology and fluoroscopic studies Bone mineral density, CT, MRI, and mammography (including interventional techniques) Advanced ultrasound and non-vascular interventional radiology Additional Benefits: Credentialing: Streamlined process, with temporary privileges available Travel: Assistance provided for local accommodations and nearest airport recommendations Professional Environment: Collaborative and well-staffed department, with two other radiologists and a supportive radiology team Why Apply?
