Position Details: Looking for first-assist experience, and providers with RNFA

Full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the General Surgery team at Backus Hospital. You will be an essential part of the multidisciplinary team that plans and delivers care for a wide variety of surgical patients encompassing numerous subspecialties including elective and emergency general surgery, trauma, colorectal, bariatrics, vascular, thoracic and neurosurgery. Our surgery PAs are involved in all aspects of surgical care such as managing surgical inpatients, admissions and consultations, operative first-assist, and bedside procedures.

Role: Open to Acute Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants

Requirements:

• Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
• Training: Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner
• Experience:
  
  • Preferred: 2+ years of inpatient surgery experience
