Our client, a leader in Energy & Industrial Manufacturing, is seeking an Automation Test Engineer II to join their team. As an Automation Test Engineer II, you will be part of the Manufacturing & Testing Department supporting the Electrical Testing, Quality, and Engineering Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a continuous improvement mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Automation Test Engineer II
Location: Imperial, PA
Pay Range: $33 - $37 / per hour
What’s the Job?
- Perform full functional testing of inverters, converters, and variable frequency drives including insulation, Hi-Pot, I/O, cooling systems, and performance testing.
- Troubleshoot electrical equipment and develop solutions using technical expertise.
- Develop test labs, test plans, and test procedure requirements.
- Prepare test reports and documentation using engineering templates.
- Support safety compliance, LOTO procedures, and lead customer witness factory acceptance testing.
What’s Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in equipment or electrical testing.
- Knowledge of electrical equipment manufacturing.
- Experience with lean/5S, quality, and engineering processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
