Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Cardiology nurse practitioner to work locum shifts in Marquette Michigan (MA). Starting in August 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Cardiology Role:
- Coverage for the inpatient APP service
- They currently work 10-hour days
- No call
- Divide up the weekends evenly with in-house APP providers.
- Seeing inpatient consults from the ED, along with other patients from other floors, if the hospitalists require a consultation. They meet in the morning as a team to divide up the patient list so it is evenly distributed.
Requirements of the Cardiology role:
- MI state license; active, unrestricted
- Board certified
- Certifications- BLS or ACLS
- 1-2 years of NP primary care experience
- Active or transferable DEA
