Respiratory Therapist (RT) | Silverdale, WA | Contract
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join a high-performing inpatient team in Silverdale. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment providing critical respiratory care to adult and neonatal patients.
Position Details
- Title: Respiratory Therapist (RT)
- Location: Silverdale 98383
- Shift: Nights – 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Pay: $1800 – $2000 Gross Weekly
- Employment Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to inpatient populations
- Perform and manage:
- Ventilator and BiPAP setup
- Nebulizer treatments
- ABG draws and analysis
- Conscious sedation and cardioversion standby
- Assist with intubations (not required to perform independently)
- Deliver care to:
- Primarily adult patients
- Occasional pediatric and neonatal cases
- Support Level II nursery/NICU patients, including:
- Bubble CPAP
- Neonates (32 weeks and above)
Unit & Work Environment
- Department: Respiratory Therapy (Inpatient)
- Average Workload: ~25 treatments per day
- Team Support: 4+ RTs on night shift with lead therapist available
- Collaborative environment with strong clinical support
Equipment & Systems
- Ventilators: PB 980
- BiPAP/CPAP: Philips V60, Respironics Lumis
Requirements
- Active Washington State RT License – Required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS Certifications – Required
- CRT or RRT Certification – Accepted
- Strong experience with:
- Ventilator management
- NICU / Level II nursery care
- L&D support
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced inpatient setting

- Holiday Requirement: Minimum one holiday
- Call Requirement: None
- Floating: Not required
- Dress Code: Personal scrubs (any color)
