An Urgent Care Physician provides medical care to patients of all ages with minor urgent conditions such as colds, sprains, and lacerations across multiple urgent care sites. Responsibilities include performing splinting, wound care, minor procedures like I&Ds, blood draws, EKGs, and coordinating with medical assistants and radiology technicians. The role requires a valid PA license, board certification, relevant certifications, and experience in urgent or emergency care, working scheduled shifts mostly full-time or part-time.
Start Date: September 1, 2025
Shifts: 8:00 AM 8:00 PM
Schedule: Full-time (12+ shifts/month) or Part-time (6+ shifts/month)
Travel between 3 urgent care sites (all within 30 miles)
Treat patients of all ages with minor urgent conditions: colds/flu, rashes, sprains, lacerations, burns
Perform splinting, wound care, I&Ds, blood draws, EKGs, and X-rays (with tech support)
Average 3 4 patients per hour
Medical assistants and rad techs onsite
Active PA license & CSR (required to apply)
Board Certified (MD or DO)
DEA required
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
Minimum:
2+ years urgent care experience or
1+ year emergency medicine experience
Comfortable seeing all ages and performing basic urgent care procedures
Must be available for at least 3 shifts per month
