The Architect - Workplace role involves leading workplace design projects from concept through construction administration, ensuring technical and design excellence. The position requires coordination with clients, consultants, and contractors, as well as strong proficiency in architectural software and knowledge of building codes and sustainability standards. Candidates should hold an architectural license and have experience in office and mixed-use building projects.
Our client is looking for a Architect - Workplace. As a Senior Architect, you will develop solutions to technical problems and lead multiple projects through the design process, production of construction documents, and construction administration as part of a project team.
Candidates should demonstrate experience in all aspects of the design process including: Programming, Master Planning, Conceptual, Schematic and Design Development presentations, 3D modeling, and the technical proficiency to successfully implement designs through the CD/CA phases.
Architect - Workplace Benefits and Compensation
- Base salary of $70 - 120k (higher end of salary requires 7+ years)

Architect - Workplace Responsibilities:
- Design Phase Work: Responsibilities include participating in design phase activities and coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the project.
- Manage Project Delivery: Assist with proposals, develop design concepts, and produce complete documentation.
- Coordinate & Review Work: Oversee consultants, ensure code compliance, and maintain quality standards.
- Support Construction Phase: Handle RFIs, site visits, punch lists, and drawing reviews.
- Client & Admin Tasks: Maintain client relationships, document project communications, and assist with contracts and change orders.
Architect - Workplace Qualifications:
- BS in Architecture
- Architectural license in at least 1 state
- Experience with the technical design of office and workplace projects
- Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SpecLink, Newforma, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign
- Experience in Mixed-Use, office and highrise buildings.
- Good knowledge of MS Project, Newforma Project Center, Deltek / Vantagepoint, and LEED and WELL requirements
