Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Surgical/Transplant position requiring at least one year of nursing experience and a valid OK or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Surgical/Transplant unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift position with 12-hour shifts, three days per week
- Variety of patient cases ranging from simple to complex medical and surgical needs
- Provide comprehensive nursing care including administering medication, monitoring patient responses, and assisting with minor diagnostic procedures
- Interact with patients and families in care planning and discharge education
- Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate
- 50-mile radius rule enforced; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
Requirements
- Active RN license from Oklahoma or a compact state (eNLC) required
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
