American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a MA license for a night shift position requiring Level 1 trauma and travel experience.
Responsibilities- Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
- Schedule is 36 or 48 hours per week
- Requires work every other weekend and includes holiday shifts
- Uses Epic charting system
- Must provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes
- Parking is not validated at Boston locations; expect daily parking rates or use public transportation
- RTO (requests for time off) must be submitted at the time of application
- No first-time travelers will be considered; prior travel experience required
- Holiday coverage is required as part of the scheduling rotation
- Active MA RN license required at the time of consideration; MA conditional licenses are not accepted
- Minimum 4 years of RN experience required
- At least 1 year of travel nurse experience and 1 year of Level 1 trauma center experience required
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination series and current flu vaccination required; no exemptions allowed
- Candidates must have last names starting with M-Z
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the hospital in Boston to be eligible for travel rates
