Details:
Ideal candidate is BC/BE in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine-Will consider other specialties with EM Experience. Must have PALS, ATLS, ACLS.
ND Medical License and DEA without restrictions, or ability to obtain.
ABEM preferred; FM/IM accepted with extensive ED experience including Trauma (at least 3 years with a minimum of 250 case logs in the last year, prior work in level II trauma center or academic center
Physicians interested in Part-time, and PRN/Moonlight and Locums are also encouraged to apply
Expedited hospital credentialing with the completed application
25-bed hospital with 4-bed open ICU
Flexible block scheduling and supportive administrative team.
APP's onsite during peak hours
The typical inpatient census is 8-15 patients per day. Admissions 2-3 day
EMR: Meditech
Provide care to a variety of patients with acute concerns that can vary greatly - mild to complex.
1.5 patients per hour
12 hour shifts, 24 hours of physician coverage, flexible schedule, days/nights/weekends and holidays required
12 hours of mid-level assistance during peak hours
Must be comfortable with all procedures (Intubations, Chest Tubes, Central Lines, Critical Care, Procedural Sedation, Airway Management OB/GYN and Deliveries, Adult and pediatric resuscitation).
