We are a Joint Commission accredited facility serving Veterans in Mississippi and parts of Louisiana. Located in Jackson, Mississippi, steeped in southern culture, Jackson is home to a multitude of world-class painters, sculptors, dancers, actors, architects, photographers, filmmakers, musicians, and artisans of many disciplines. Major Duties/Responsibilities

  • Performs inpatient or outpatient cardiovascular consultation services.
  • Perform standard diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures temporary pacing and permanent device (Pacemakers, Loop recorders, AICD and bi-ventricular devices) implantation, direct current cardioversions, electrocardiogram interpretation, Holter monitor and ambulatory rhythm interpretation.
  • Serves as academic faculty for cardiovascular fellowship training program.
  • Provides medical consultative services and chart review for quality assurance purposes or risk management.
  • Board certified at least once in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
