The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) works in a hybrid model supporting one attending physician with three CRNAs, performing anesthesia services including epidurals, spinal blocks, and airway management across various surgical specialties. The position requires autonomy during shifts, with occasional at-home call coverage and no direct MD supervision for up to 30 minutes. Candidates should have 3-4 years of inpatient experience and be skilled in emergent intubations, regional anesthesia, and general surgical procedures.
- Hybrid model which would have 1 attending to 3 CRNA s.
- Schedule: 7a - 7p OR 7a - 5p
- 10 or 12 hour shifts
- Weekends only available for at-home call. One shift available for in house from 7a - 5p & then at-home 5p - 7a.
- Attending has 30min to respond to call, so the CRNA needs to be confident and autonomous. They may be working without MD supervision for those full 30 minutes.
- Epidurals, purple blocks at attendings preference
- Emergent intubations, codes, AAA, c-sections
- No trauma (Not a trauma center)
- General Surgery, Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, EP/Pacemaker, Cardiac (not required, only on request), healthy peds, OB.
- Epidurals, purple blocks, competent in airway and regional skills, able to put in spinal block.
- EMR: EPIC
- LOA: 6m
- Start date: As soon as credentialled
- Credentialing: 45 - 50 days
- Experience: Strongly prefer candidates with 3-4 years of experience in an inpatient setting. Someone confident, independent who can roll with the punches.
- Payrate $250/hr with $1200-$1400/weekly stipend
