We are looking for committed Physician Assistants (PA) and Nurse Practitioners (NP) to join our esteemed team, providing exceptional urgent and emergency care across multiple sites. This vital role offers you the chance to work independently, manage a diverse patient population, and contribute directly to community health and well-being.
What You Will Do:
- Provide compassionate, efficient urgent and emergency care to adult and pediatric patients aged 6 months and up.
- Perform procedures such as incision and drainage, lac repair, ear irrigation, and other minor interventions.
- Use Epic EMR for all patient documentation, requiring proficiency in the system.
- Manage up to 40 patients per day, averaging around 20, with the ability to function autonomously at assigned centers.
- Collaborate with offsite physicians for supervision and support as needed.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care, soft skills, and professionalism in every interaction with support staff and patients.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience in urgent or emergency care settings.
- Board certification: BC / NCCPA for PAs, Family NP certification for NPs.
- Current BLS certification.
- Proficiency with Epic EMR.
- Ability to see and treat all patients independently.
- Excellent soft skills, including communication, teamwork, and patient engagement.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with advanced procedures such as I&D, lac repair, and ear irrigation.
- Familiarity with pediatric urgent care protocols.
- Previous work in fast-paced emergency care centers.
- Additional certifications or training in emergency medicine.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with at least one year of relevant urgent care or emergency medicine experience.
- No consideration for new graduates; seeking experienced providers ready to work independently.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work within a 65-mile radius of your residence.
- Availability to start on 31/12/2025.
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics.
- Support staff includes center managers, medical assistants, and supervising physicians.
