Opportunity:

RN - CCU Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend and holiday rotations required
• 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period
• Must be comfortable floating to ICU, ER, Med/Surg, and MST units
• Cross-training required for multiple units (med/surg, ICU, ER)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
• Minimum 1 year experience in Med/Surg/Tele/Critical Care units required
• New York State RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (through AHA or RQI system), NIHSS
• Basic Coronary Care certification required within 6 months of hire
• CPI certification required within 90 days of hire
• Preferred certifications: Emergency Nurses Association certification and TNCC within 2 years of hire
• Must demonstrate ability to handle confidential information and work professionally with patients and staff
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required
• Computer literacy required with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record experience preferred
• Must provide age-appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
