Position Highlights:
- Annual ED Volume: 35,000 visits
- ED Beds: 17, includes a designated Fast Track
- Daily Patient Census:
- Admission Rate: 13%
- Scribes available to support documentation
- EMR: MediTech
- Modern facility with strong clinical resources and operational support
Shift Coverage:
Physicians: 36 hours/day
- 12-hour shifts: 6a 6p /11a 11p / 6p 6a
APPs: 36 hours/day
- 12-hour shifts: 7a 7p / 9a 9p / 4p 4a
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM Only)
- Current ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Active, unrestricted Louisiana medical license and DEA
