Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled MedSurg Cardiac Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will specialize in the care of patients post PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, and post MI, as well as cardiac pharmacological interventions. Candidates must possess a valid New York State license and be able to handle a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 in a 26-bed unit.
Responsibilities- Monitor cardiac patients and interpret dysrhythmias.
- Manage dysrhythmias and respond to emergencies using Rapid Response/Code teams.
- Administer IV therapy and perform phlebotomy as needed.
- Provide respiratory care, including nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management.
- Adhere to isolation precautions and maintain safe patient environments.
- A minimum of 1 year of MedSurg nursing experience.
- BLS Certification is required.
- Proficiency in Epic charting system is mandatory.
- Cardiac experience is highly preferred.
