A leading healthcare system in Peoria, Illinois, is actively seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our highly skilled Inpatient ICU team . This is an excellent opportunity to deliver advanced critical care in a collaborative, physician-led environment.
Position Overview:
- Work alongside a team of 4 Critical Care Physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner
- Provide care in our 12-bed Cardiovascular ICU and 12-bed Medical/Surgical ICU
- Average of 5 patients per shift
- Perform ICU procedures - full training and several months of orientation provided
- Flexible scheduling with 8-, 12-, or 24-hour shifts, including weekdays, nights, evenings, and weekends
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing with Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certification
- 1-3 years of ICU or Acute Care experience as a provider or RN
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and procedural skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly rate: $59.38 - $77.20 (commensurate with experience)
