The Pathology Physician position is for a full-time clinical AP/CP board certified pathologist with fellowship training in Genitourinary pathology, requiring BE/BC certification and eligibility for a West Virginia medical license. The role involves providing expert diagnostic services in a large regional referral and academic medical center with multiple hospitals, including specialized programs such as a Level 1 Trauma Center and Cancer Center. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical and communication skills and may join a diverse team of pathologists in a city known for its quality of life and family-friendly environment.
We are seeking to employ a full-time clinical AP/CP board certified pathologist and fellowship trained in Genitourinary pathology.
Successful candidates (MD or DO) must be BE/BC and eligible for an unrestricted West Virginia license. Excellent diagnostic skills and a strong clinical background are a must. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are desired. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
The practice consists of twelve full-time pathologists with many subspecialty areas represented. The 958-bed regional referral and academic medical center comprising four hospitals including a Level 1 Trauma Center, a free-standing cancer center as well as significant OB/Gyn services. In addition, there is an active Blood Management Program. This hospital also has an ACGME accredited Urology residency program.
