About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Oncology MD in Missouri!

We are seeking a Medical Oncologist for a 93-day locum tenens assignment in Missouri. This opportunity begins on Jan 26, 2026, with day shifts from 8am to 5pm, primarily Tuesday and Wednesday, with potential to add Thursdays. The Medical Oncologist will provide both outpatient and inpatient hematology/oncology care, working closely with a multidisciplinary team across clinic and hospital settings.

• Schedule: Tuesday and Wednesday 8am-5pm (potential to add Thursdays); participation in Tumor Board on Wednesdays with clinic adjusted accordingly

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient hematology/oncology care
• Manage a diverse caseload, including solid tumor cases (lung/thoracic, GU, head/neck)
• Conduct patient consultations and admissions
• Supervise mid-level providers as applicable
• Participate in tumor board meetings
• Perform procedures such as VAD/catheter management, biopsies, and chemotherapy administration as required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Utilize onsite diagnostic resources and EMR systems

Additional Information

• Solid tumor experience required
• Must hold active Missouri medical license
• Board certifications required: Hematology and Medical Oncology
