JOB FUNCTION:As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise in performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting is essential in helping us maintain a well-maintained and efficient environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Complete general preventative maintenance and repairs
- Assist in maintaining a safe work environment
- Complete scheduled tasks and respond to maintenance calls
- Other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:- Must be at least 18 years old or older
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training or relevant certifications in construction technology is helpful but not required
- General electrical, plumbing, and building systems knowledge
- Trade School or work experience in a mechanical field desired
- PLC and VFD knowledge preferred
- Ability to read and interpret work orders
- General computer skills (diagnostic and administrative)
- High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities
- Basic math skills are required
- Uses good judgement to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:- Must be able to lift items of up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to climb stairs, bend, stand, kneel, twist, reach, and pull frequently
