Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in Michigan, requiring a MI RN license and proficiency with CRRT and Cerner.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
- Patient ratio is 2:1
- Typical patient population includes critically ill adults requiring advanced monitoring and interventions
- Requires experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
- Uses Cerner electronic medical record system; experience required
- Night shifts, 7pm to 7:30am, with every other weekend required
- Must be available to work at least one holiday during the contract
- Travelers may float to a nearby sister hospital as needed
- Responsible for leadership in coordinating and delivering quality compassionate patient care
- Expected to utilize the full nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Must complete online orientation modules onsite prior to start and achieve a passing score
- COVID vaccination is mandatory to work at this facility
- RTO (Requested Time Off) for up to one week is permitted
- Blocked scheduling is not allowed
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required for consideration
- Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience required
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), both AHA only
- Experience with Cerner EMR required
