We are seeking a Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist for a 5-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland starting Nov 26, 2025. This opportunity involves 24-hour call coverage supporting pediatric cardiac catheterization services over the holiday period, with shifts running from 7am to 7am. Additional coverage dates may be available.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide emergency call coverage for pediatric interventional cardiology cases
Support pediatric cardiac catheterization service
Respond to emergencies requiring procedural intervention as needed
Work collaboratively in the Cath Lab alongside a dedicated physician assistant, registered nurses, and cardiovascular technologists
Oversee patient care for step-down beds and pediatric cardiac intensive care unit (PCICU) beds

Additional Information

Must hold a valid Maryland medical license
Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
Experience in pediatric interventional cardiology strongly preferred
Locum will primarily support pediatric patients
