A healthcare facility near Cameron, Arizona is seeking a locum tenens Anesthesiologist for an upcoming contract opportunity. Position Overview Profession: Physician Specialty: Anesthesiology Contract Duration: 13 shifts (dates listed below) Shift Details: Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts, no call required Assignment Dates 2024 November: 5-7, 19-21, 25-27 December: 23-24, 26-27, January: 2-3 February: 25-28 March: 18-21 Setting & Scope of Practice Daily Census: 50-60 patients Work Environment: Support from a skilled team of CRNAs Department provides anesthesiology services across ortho, trauma, spine, neuro, cath lab, ambulatory surgery, and endo cases Main hospital has 11 ORs, with an additional 2 ORs in an ambulatory center EMR: Cerner and SaAnesthesia Special Notes: Locum providers will not medically direct CRNAs and are not assigned to OB Requirements Board Certification: Must be BC/BE in Anesthesiology Licensing: Active Arizona license required (IMLC accepted) Certifications: ACLS and PALS mandatory Experience: Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred Additional Information Orientation: On-the-job orientation with no additional unpaid time required Holiday Pay: 1.5x base rate for New Year s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day COVID-19 & Flu Vaccine Policy COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required.
