American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of recent radiology experience for a night shift position, requiring ARRT and Massachusetts licensure.
Responsibilities- Position is in a diagnostic radiology department serving ED, OR, inpatient, and outpatient populations
- The hospital has 358 beds and a diverse patient population
- Responsibilities include general diagnostic radiography as well as portable and intraoperative C-arm imaging
- Shifts are Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 pm to 7:30 am, with one weekend per month required
- Epic and Visage EMR systems are used in the department
- Must perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Must comply with flu vaccination requirements; no exemptions accepted
- Parking may incur daily costs depending on facility location
- Professional scrubs are required in the radiology department
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to avoid a pay adjustment
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in diagnostic radiology, including portable and OR C-arm procedures
- Active ARRT (R) certification is required
- Valid Massachusetts Department of Public Health Radiologic Technologist License is required (MA Conditional Licenses not accepted; license required if applicable)
- Certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
