This role is ideal for a physician dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our nations veterans through interventional radiologic procedures and consultation.Work Schedule:Days: Monday FridayHours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PMNo on-call, weekend, or holiday responsibilities unless otherwise specified.Key Responsibilities:Provide on-site consultations and timely evaluation of patients in accordance with VA clinic wait time policies and consult/order completion standards.Review consults and next-day cases daily (minimum of one hour).Determine the appropriate course of treatment and communicate directly with referring clinicians (in person or via phone).Conduct interventional radiologic procedures and provide post-procedure evaluation, follow-up, and clinical consultation regarding any complications.Instruct and advise referring physicians on appropriate indications for interventional procedures to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate patient work-ups.Adhere to VA medication policiesno sample medications may be distributed to patients.Qualifications:Licensure: Must possess a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of ColumbiaBoard Certification: Must be Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Interventional RadiologyExperience: Strong background in performing interventional radiologic procedures and post-procedural care is preferredCompliance: Must adhere to all VA clinical performance standards, documentation, and timely patient care requirements
