This 20-bed Med-Surg unit cares for a mixed adult/geriatric and pediatric population with strong ratios (typically 4:1, max 5:1; COVID assignments typically 2:1, max 3:1). Candidates must have 3 years of med-surg experience plus 1 year pediatrics and be fully comfortable with both populations; AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required. This is a 12-hour shift role (assigned) with flexibility for other shifts, weekends/holidays, occasional floating within competency, and possible support of flu immunization clinics; orientation is Mondays only.
