Behavioral Health Hospitalist opportunity in the greater St. Louis, MO area
Great work-life balance opportunity for a Hospitalist to round on medical needs on behavioral health patients. We are not managing behavioral issues. On-site psychiatrists and Pharmacists are readily available to assist when needed.
Position highlights:
- Flexibility in setting your own hours in seeing patients.
- Must be available until 7 pm via phone or pager.
- Some weekends are required with limited hours in hospital.
- Very reasonable census.
- Low Acuity, low stress position.
- Manage admissions, rounding, and discharging patients. Manage medical needs only.
- No Procedures or codes required.
- No ICU and No ED at this facility.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or eligible in internal medicine, family medicine, or med-peds.
- Must be comfortable seeing patients as young as age 13.
- All levels of experience considered. New graduates, residents, and fellows are welcome to apply.
