Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | 3 × 12-Hour Day Shifts
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (schedule may vary)
On-Call: None

Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of PCU RN experience within specialty

Licensure & Certifications:

• BLS required

• ACLS required

• NIH Stroke Certification required

Holiday Requirements (Winter):

• Must work 1 Major Holiday:

  • Christmas Day or New Year’s Day

• AND 1 Minor Holiday:

  • Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve

Position Overview:
The PCU RN provides intermediate-level care to patients requiring close monitoring, cardiac and neurologic assessment, and advanced nursing interventions. This role requires strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to manage higher-acuity patients in a fast-paced progressive care environment.
