Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with an active CA license, BLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation certification for a night shift position.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery setting
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Patient care involves high-risk labor and delivery cases
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Provide nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor and delivery, including high-risk cases
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams
- Required to wear hospital-provided or specified scrubs
- Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
- Travel and local candidates are considered at the same rate
- Per HR policy, travelers may not be on assignment for more than 2 consecutive years without a 90-day break
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
- Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Current BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
- Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Preferred: 5+ years of recent Labor & Delivery experience within the past 2 years
- Preferred: 1 year of recent high-risk Labor & Delivery experience within the past 2 years
