Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - General Medicine in Houston, MN
Join a dedicated team committed to serving our nation's Veterans! We are seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This role allows you to work on a flexible, per diem basis, with options to work from your own office or a designated facility. All positions are within a 50-mile radius, ensuring convenience for local candidates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based assessments with some physical evaluation, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Document findings efficiently and submit applicable reports including addendums.
- No prescribing or treatment responsibilities.
- Complete required training and onboard swiftly for immediate engagement.
- Availability to work half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours) on a PRN basis.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Must own a laptop (Windows-based, no Mac/Apple products).
- AANP certification is required.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid medical license number.
- Current AANP certification number.
- Must complete the Name Clear process with all required details.
