Our client, a leading organization in enterprise technology solutions, is seeking a Database Engineer 3 - Contingent to join their team. As a Database Engineer 3 - Contingent, you will be part of the Database Management Operations supporting critical database infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Lead and participate in database management activities including designing highly complex MongoDB, EDB PostgreSQL, and YugabyteDB databases.
• Lead highly complex data modeling, mapping, integration, and capacity planning efforts for supported databases.
• Perform planning, research, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of server-class databases.
• Design and implement security solutions including industry benchmarks and auditing practices.
• Develop management policies, procedures, standards, and best practices to ensure optimal database performance and security.

What's Needed?

• 4+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
• Proficiency with MongoDB, EDB PostgreSQL, and YugabyteDB technologies.
• Experience with automation, scripting, and AI integration is preferred.
• Strong understanding of database security, high availability, and replication solutions.
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence strategic direction within a team environment.
