DirectShifts is seeking compassionate and dedicated Psychiatrists to join our team in providing comprehensive mental health care to patientsin various locations in the state of South Carolina.
Job Description:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders (such as depression and bipolar disorder), anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and addiction.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including thorough interviews and mental status examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating psychotherapy, medication management, and other therapeutic modalities.
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in psychiatry and mental health treatment through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Valid medical license in South Carolina State
- Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
