• Board Certification: Required
• Covid Vaccination: Required
• Michigan License: Required at the time of name clearance (No exceptions)
• Clean Background: Required (No exceptions)
• Local Candidate: Required
• Submission of Rates: Required at the time of name clearance (Provider will not be cleared without this information)

Facility Description:

Our 20-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit is conveniently. Our dedicated interdisciplinary team focuses on promoting self-sufficiency and maximizing functional ability through patient-centered care. This approach involves advocating for patients' rights, empowering them to make decisions, and respecting their participation in decision-making.

The program is accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) as a Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Program for Adults, and as a Stroke Specialty Program (Adults). We take pride in maintaining this accreditation for over 30 years.

Job Description:

• Coverage Period: December 19 - 24, with shifts from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
• Inpatient Rehab Unit: 20 beds
• Reason for Coverage: Physiatrist Vacation
• Schedule: Partial days with the ability to approve admissions via computer. Team conferences on Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:00 am.
• Patient Demographics: 100% adult rehab
• Number of Patients Per Day: 10-20 on the unit
• Facility Resources: 24 Hour Lab, 24hr Anesthesia Department
• Documentation System/EMR: Cerner
• Trauma Level/Designation: Level III
