- Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care Unit or stepdown nursing experience (ED/ER, STEMI, stroke patients)
- At least 1 completed travel nurse assignment
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or compact state)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
- References from recent healthcare assignments
- Ability to work at least 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
- Provide high-quality patient care in the ER Holding Area (Stepdown)
- Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5, adjusted for acuity
- Administer and monitor all types of drips and medications
- Interpret and document telemetry strips using Spacelabs monitors
- Collaborate with ED physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, paramedics, and patient care technicians
- Complete department-specific orientation during first week
- Follow hospital policies, including dress code and documentation standards
