The Executive Sous Chef leads kitchen staff in a high-volume fine-dining restaurant, ensuring food quality and safety. They assist with menu creation, staff training, inventory management, and maintaining kitchen organization. This role requires strong culinary expertise, leadership skills, and experience managing a busy restaurant environment.
We’re seeking a talented and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team for a high-volume fine-dining restaurant in Beverly Hills.

Executive Sous Chef Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional culinary experience, including 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role in a high-volume/fine dining restaurant
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations: food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Understanding restaurant volume of over 10 million
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for food, creativity, and delivering high-quality dishes
Executive Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
- Assist in the creation and execution of seasonal menus and daily specials
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes
- Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff for professional growth and efficiency
- Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
