Location- Kearney, Nebraska
- Level II Trauma Center hospital
Availability / Schedule (2026) - Weekend Call Coverage- July :00 PM - July :00 AM
- September :00 AM - September :00 AM
- December :00 AM - December :00 AM
Coverage is primarily weekend call with onsite work when requested by Trauma or ED physicians.
Clinical Setting- Level II Trauma Center
- Required 24/7 ENT call coverage to maintain trauma designation
Scope of Work- ENT call coverage
- Respond onsite when requested by Trauma or Emergency Department physicians
Required Procedures- Adenoidectomy
- Tonsillectomy
- Audiograms
- Lump/Tumor removal
EMRSupport Staff- Anesthesia
- CRNA
- Surgery Department
Patient Volume- Estimated 2-4 patients per day
- Mix of trauma and ENT call cases
Reason for Coverage- Loss of one ENT provider
- Only two ENT providers remaining to take call
- Coverage required to maintain Level II Trauma Center status
Credentialing & Submission RequirementsBoard Certification- Board Certified ENT required
- Board Eligible not accepted
Licensure- Nebraska license required
- IMLC / Compact license accepted
- Must be able to obtain Nebraska license within a few months
Residency / Fellowship- Not required beyond standard ENT training
Other Certifications- DEA required
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP not required
