We are currently seeking a General Medicine Physician for an exciting locum tenens opportunity near Three Rivers, California. This position offers flexibility with options for half-day or full-day shifts, perfect for those looking for PRN work. You'll be performing non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams, along with Separation Health Assessments for Veterans.

Job Duties:
- Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans
- Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessments, including:
- Range of motion testing
- Muscle strength testing
- METs testing
- No treatment or prescription involved
- Training will be provided for Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)
- Documentation to be completed and submitted within 48 hours of the exam
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted full medical license
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
- Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions
- Own a personal laptop (no Mac/Apple products)
- Willingness to complete required Disability Medical Assessment (DMA) training
- AANP certification is preferred
- Previous experience in completing Veterans assessments is a plus
