Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Board-Certified Anesthesiologist (ABA) for a locum tenens opportunity in Caribou, Maine. This assignment offers consistent weekday scheduling, diverse case exposure, and the chance to join a collaborative anesthesia team in a respected community hospital setting.
Assignment Highlights
- Location: Caribou, Maine
- Start Date: March 2026 (credentialing 6–12 weeks)
- Contract Type: Locum Tenens
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day shifts + daily call rotation
- Travel: Flights, rental car, and housing provided
Clinical Details- Practice Model: 1 MD supervising 5 CRNAs
- Primary Responsibilities: Supervision with some solo cases
- Case Mix: General Surgery, Urology, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, and Dental
- Regional Blocks: Yes – proficiency required
- OB Coverage: Yes
- EMR: CPSI/Thrive + Paper Charting
- Facility Size: 49 inpatient beds, 6 ORs
Candidate Requirements- Board Certification: ABA (required)
- Licensure: Active or eligible Maine medical license
- Experience: Minimum 2 years post-training preferred
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
