Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for an ICU position requiring an active MA RN license and AHA BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in the ICU within an acute care hospital setting
- 36-hour workweek with day/night rotation and weekend rotation
- Patient population includes critically ill adults requiring intensive care
- Uses Epic EMR system; prior experience preferred
- Requires personal vehicle for transportation
- Shared housing available; no pets or guests allowed
- May be required to cover holidays as part of the rotation
- Housing is shared and does not permit pets or guests
- Local candidates are accepted, but those residing within 60 miles of Boston will receive a reduced pay rate
- Parking availability and costs vary by location
- Timekeeping utilizes UKG/Kronos system
- Extension offers may be at a lower rate than initial contract
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted MA RN license required; no conditional licenses accepted
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions
- Must provide license verification through NURSYS and BON prior to start
- Must have a car for local transportation
